Fascinated by the mandrake, known for its therapeutic and alleged aphrodisiac properties since the Middle Ages, Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen have created Mandragore Pourpre: a fragrance that fuses aromatic and cyprus scents.

Illustrating a darker and more mysterious facet of the mandrake, this new perfume is different from the original Mandragore, whose fragrance is based on refreshing and woody scents. A contrasting interpretation for an ode to mystery. A spicy, sensual and captivating composition.

Thus a love potion that deploys its spellbinding powers, Mandragore Pourpre releases aromatic, spicy and cyprus energies. The refreshing swirl of bergamot, mint and star anis is improved with resinous and spicy notes such as rosemary, geranium and black pepper. Back notes become passionate and use their enigmatic charm: sensual and fiery patchouli, zestful and fruity myrtle, intense incense and powdered and distinguished heliotrope. Upon skin contact, the intrigue is infinitely attractive...The bottle is purple-colored in order to evoke the darker aspect of the mandrake plant.
