Bee Venom has been found to have a modulating effect on pain, and when used in a cream or balm it is very site specific. It is readily used in therapies for the treatment of such conditions as arthritis, tendinitis and for dissolving scar tissue.

A number of specially selected ingredients have been expertly combined with New Zealand Bee Venom to create this effective Balm-Rub. In localised chronic inflammatory conditions, bee venom appears able to alter and modulate the locally occurring inflammatory response.

Bee Venom is a complex mix of at least 18 physiologically active compounds. These compounds give bee venom an extensive range of anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Additionally, bee venom has marked effects on blood flow and tissue permeability and also appears to increase production of the natural anti-inflammatory compound cortisol through the release of ACTH.
